Proactive Recruitment Ltd is a privately owned company which has been successfully servicing the recruitment needs of SME's and Multinational Organisations throughout the central belt for almost 12 years.
We aim to provide a professional recruitment service with an emphasis placed on quality and integrity, the vital ingredients in creating the numerous long term client relationships we have achieved over the years.
We are corporate members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the governing body for the recruitment industry. We receive daily updates from the REC advising on issues such like employment law, new government legislation, salary scales and key industry developments. We are also members of the Federation for Small Businesses (FSB), an organisation that seeks fair treatment of small businesses throughout the UK.
We are active members of the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA), a government body founded to protect workers from exploitation in agriculture, horticulture, shellfish gathering and food processing and packaging. We achieved this licence in June 2006 and have been compliant in this practice since September 2005 when we invited an external body to examine our procedures. Our unique reference with the GLA is PROA0001 and our certificate can be supplied upon request or by visiting the GLA website.

It is important that we understand your business and its recruitment requirements from first point of contact. Our preference would be to conduct a site visit where we can meet key personnel and appraise your needs first hand.
The experience of our staff coupled with our powerful industry specific software means we can search and select the best possible candidates' specific to your recruitment requirements almost immediately.
If we don't have the correct fit within our current database and we are unable to satisfy your requirement immediately then we will disclose our position. If your requirement is less urgent we can conduct a bespoke search and selection campaign. This will include the construction of a suitable advertisement through a selection of media, initial advert response and interviewing, background reference examination and in depth assessment by one of our experienced consultants.

Once a candidate is placed we aim to assist you in any way we can. You may require extra candidates at short notice or seek up to the minute employment advice. Whichever the case you can always reach one of our consultants 24 hours a day; 365 days a year. Our office is open from 07.30 until 18:00 hours each weekday. For peace of mind we payroll all candidates internally and in compliance with HMRC. We issue timesheets to you for completion in accordance with your specified requirements, can provide a costing for your financial records and issue weekly invoices in the format that you request. Unlike many recruitment companies we are not factored by a financial institution and we conduct all account activity from general invoice queries to accepting payments.
